ABOUT SELF
I, the yungest of the two children and the only son of Mr Ajit Kumar Burmon & Mrs Pranati Burmon, was born at a small place called Howraghat in Assam, India 0n 20 th February 1957. My first school was South Point Montessori School, Guwahati, Assam where studied from Class A to Class II. A part of Class II I read in Bengali Girls' High School, Guwahati. Class III to Class X I studied in Ramakrishna Mission High School, Cherrapunji, (then in Assam), presently in Meghalaya, India. College - St.Edmund's College, Shillong, Meghalaya, where I started as a student of Science and graduated as an Arts student - completed my MA (English) from North a Hill University, Shillong in the year 1980 - Joined Zunheboto College, Zunheboto, Nagaland as a Lecturer in English in 1980 - I joined the Post Graduate Training College, Shillong and got admitted into B.Ed in the year 1982 - I joined Tukrajhar Higher Secondary School and served from June 1982 to February1983 - worked in Assam Rifles Public School from Febraury 1983 to October 1983 - Joined Tura Govt College in 1983 received Commission in NCC in 1997 as a 2ndLt- completed Post Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English from Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages know (presently known as English and Foreign Languages University), Shillong Campus, sent on deputation as a Principal to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Sivasagar, Assam - joined University BT and Evening College, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India in the B.Ed Section in th year 2001 - joined Bakshirhat Mahavidyalaya, Bakshirhat, West Bengal on 1st April 2008 as a Principal - got married to Mousumi De Sarker who is presently a lecturer in Political Science in Mekliganj College and also possesses a Phd Degree. She, the only daughter and the youngest child of Mr Birendra Chandra De Sarker and Mrs Sabita De Sarker, was born on 26th January 1967. We are blessed with a son named ONOK (Guddu), who is five year's old.
